Something For The Weekend 14

Friday 18th December 2009

Rather than picking a product of the week for you to enjoy, we have actually picked out an entire store for you to have a look at.

If you thought it was now too late do do your gift shopping in line, well you can think again. Today the lovely people at Firebox to tell me that they were still taking orders that could be delivered for Christmas.

Personally I am a huge fan of this store, and if you want to buy something that little bit different then this is a place for you.

Just as an example I will show you the item I bought and paid for on Sunday evening, and received in the first post on Tuesday morning:

Digital Video Camera priced at 39.95. Of course there are lots of things on the Firebox website; Toys, games, gadgets, tech gifts and eco friendly things to name but a few.

Website Of The Week

Today I am crowning a forum as my website of the week. www.adviceandrelationships.com is a fairly new forum run by my wonderful friend Brittany. Her own experiences with life has led her to devise a forum where people who feel like they need advice or help with any aspect of their lives can go.

All the members are friendly individuals, and I include myself in that. So if you want to meet some friendly new people, need a friend or some good advice talk to me, Brittany and others online at adviceandrelationships.com

Well, that's another week almost gone.

Have a great weekend, enjoy any Christmas parties that you may be going to, and remember what my gran used to say 'if you can't be good, be careful'.

Stay safe, see you Monday!

Something For The Weekend 8

Friday 6th November 2009

It's official! Christmas has arrived at The Beauty Factor, and in celebration we are going to be bringing you some of the most affordable beauty products and devices on the net.

This week we are going to kick of with this brilliant contraption to the left of your screen.

Here's a device that looks more like something that the Marquis de Sade himself might have enjoyed in his time. But rather than being the source of any foreign hanky panky, this contraption has an altogether more holistic purpose in mind... and it's not what you think!

These holistic purposes include relaxing and re-energising the body, relieving aches and pains, improving circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Intrigued? Well do read on.

The weightless fingers arching off its central spindle are designed to be moved slowly across the skin, stimulating nerve endings and releasing those rather nice endorphins in the process. What results, is a warm tingling sensation which relaxes muscles, providing localised pain relief and a general feeling of heavenly well-being. Divine. The Genie Head Massager is a versatile and flexible massage tool that can be deployed all over your your neck, scalp and temples. So simply sit back, relax and indulge while its slow, caressing strokes create remarkable sensations within, not to mention sending shivers of delight down your spine.

The perfect gift for anyone out there who needs to relax. You can now buy The Genie (Head Massager) (for me...hint hint)! directly from Amazon, with free delivery, and it will only cost you £3.53... pure bargain!

Today I have to give a really big shout out for www.spotify.com

If you have never heard of Spotify, then let me tell you a little bit about them. Spotify first came to my attention on a Sky News programme a few months ago. They are a fully legal music download site which allows you to listen to music online for free.

If you are currently using illegal downlaod software you could soon find yourself losing your internet connection, so go onto the spotify website today an apply for your invitation. I waited three weeks for my invitation to come through, and it was well worth the wait!

Anyway, that's all from me this week. Be sure to look after yourselves this weekend, and I will see you back here on Monday morning!

Something For The Weekend 3

Friday 2nd October 2009

Is it just me, or are the weeks flying by?

Well it's already October, and it's Friday so that means that it is time for our product of the week.

Experts say that we need at least seven hours of uninterrupted sleep every night, but many of us fail to even get 4 hours of sleep. This can be due to many factors; stress, anxiety, a busy lifestyle, but lack of sleep can really have a negative effect on your overall health and well being.

Oxy Sleep Aid is a natural medication that can help you fall asleep naturally and help to restore your sleeping cycle. This non addictive formula helps to relax you into a good nights sleep without the side affects that prescription medications can have.

Currently offering a limited free trial (you just pay the shipping and handling fees) this really is the time to be trying out Oxy Aid .

Ever tried to calculate your own body mass index? Well if you are anything like me you would be terrible at maths and not know how the formula works.

So here I have found a very simple tool which calculates your BMI for you. All you have to do is put in your height and weight and let this nifty little gadget do the sums for you.

Thankfully I came out as 'normal'. Why don't you give it a try and let us know how you got on.

Here's wishing you all a great weekend.

See you on Monday!

Website Of The Week.
This is one for the United Kingdom only I'm afraid people...sorry, but it is a fantastic find!

Get Me A Ticket are a company that give away some amazing prizes for free...yes, you heard me free.

At the moment they are giving away some amazing prizes which include holidays to Dubai, high street shopping vouchers, cars and great gadgets.

They give away prizes every single day and it costs nothing to enter these competitions. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is visit the website, choose the prizes you would like to win and follow the on screen instructions.

I have tried the site for myself, and even though I have never won anything, I know a man who has! Best of all this is a no spam site. You can give them your email address and be sure that they will not flood your inbox with 'offers'.

That's it from the Beauty Factor for this week.
Enjoy your weekend (I have a fiesta to attend), and I will see you here on Monday.

Ciao!
